September 28, 2024 I finally embarked on my first 2 week trip to Japan. It’s long been on my list of places to visit, since I was a young boy. Like many my age I was captivated by Veritech fighters and scenes from Neo Tokyo on my television screen. This first post will serve as a hello world and also to set the context for upcoming ones. I’m near the end of my trip and have been writing personal trip notes almost daily. I want somewhere to be able to recount these as well as to be able to share this and future trips with friends and family. So the next few posts will be a recount of the trip, along with my favourite photos taken.
This blog and newsletter will also serve as a place for me to think out loud about the things I enjoy, mainly music (I’m usually interested in GOOD hip hop, ambient, electronic and currently gamelan) tech and photography for now.
