Security findings

I read the parts of the code where data and money move. That means sign-in, permissions, payments and stored data. A permission is a rule that decides who can read or change each record.

Each finding says what is wrong and where it sits in the code. It also says what the problem can cause for you and your customers. The checks follow the risk groups in the OWASP Top 10, the standard list of web app security risks.

Scale findings

An app can work well for ten users and slow down for a thousand. I check the parts that strain as use grows. Examples are slow database queries and long calls to AI models.

Each finding names the point where the app will strain. It also says what to change before that point arrives.

A repair plan in priority order

The plan puts every finding in one of two groups: fix before launch, and fix after launch. Each item has a short reason in plain words.

Hypothetical example

This example is hypothetical. A founder plans to launch a booking app built with Lovable next month. The review finds that any signed-in user can read every booking.

The fix is a database rule. Many Lovable apps use Supabase as their database. Supabase calls this rule row level security. The finding goes to the top of the plan as "fix before launch". The developer adds the rule, and the launch keeps its date.

What to have ready

Give read access to the code repository. A repository is the online folder that holds your app's code. Give access to a test or live version of the app. Then write two lines on the decision that depends on the review.

What to ask any reviewer

Ask whether each finding will name a place in the code. Ask how the repair plan sets an order. Ask how the price is fixed and on which date you receive the report.
